Learning about the 996

I'm still confused - here's what Car & Driver claims was their '99 GT3, which is quite non-tacoish:
But there are other '99 GT3's that ARE tacoed, so I dunno.
*edit* Wikipedia illustrations are consistent that pre-facelift (MKI) GT3 wing _is_ the taco, so I'm left wondering what crack C&D was smoking.

Resident Aero **** here....
The 996.1 had the taco for coupes only. There was a smaller tail for the cab and was an option for coupes too....but the small wing on the coupe looks well....inadequate. 996.2 had the biplane wing. The GT3's came with the proper wing per 996.1 or 996.2 along with the correct front bumpers and side skirts.
Now if Jimmy Coo Coo Cachu shows I'll deny ever writing this.

It's clear that you should've just bought your car with the right wing in the first place, then you wouldn't be in this situation.

Some WD-40 should take care of the odor...
