Default Koni and H&R install completed

In case anyone is looking for a height change photo. I've only been able to drive 50/60 miles since I completed the upgrade. My car had 54k on it so I don't think the stock syspension was completly wasted, however it was soft.
First impressions are great, definitely not a jarring ride.

Dramatic change in ride height. Would you mind measuring center of wheel to fender lip? I have H&R springs on my car and I think it is even lower than yours. I would like to compare.

Give us more impressions as you drive it. Exactly the suspension I'm considering.

That looks really good and I love the wheels. I've been thinking about going black on my wheels as well but I wanted to see what it looks like first. Did you powder coat or plastic-dip them?

Just to clarify, are these Koni yellows and H&R sway bars you installed?

I'm guessing H&R springs since he got a drop out of it and neither shocks or sways would give a drop.

I just finished mine today - Bilstein B8 sport shocks/struts with H&R lowering springs. No more clunking top hats (went with Tarrett camber plates) and no more squeaks...Bery flat through turns but beautiful over bumps. I haven't done any high speed driving yet as I need to get it aligned and shake it out a bit... So far, very happy

Always liked Bilstein but I got a smoking deal on this set up from another rennlister. He traded up to a turbo cab and never got a chance to install. Great guy, Frank.

Yes they are koni adjustable shocks and H&R springs. The package that Tire rack had on sale last year.

Wheels are powdercoated 18" models, not hollow spokes but they were in good shape.
I'd love a set of Fikse FM10's but thats down the road.

Have to get out and drive more first!

The Koni/H&R setup has been replaced by a Koni/Eibach kit. I believe we still have a few of the H&R kits available and we'll post some updated pricing on these kits in the morning.

Since I have a C4 I didn't have a choice for the Koni's... (not sure why, but they don't make a kit for the C4)

Let me know. I was planning on waiting before doing anything to the suspension but if the deal was right, I might bite on the H&R combo.

I've got the same wheels. It looks great. Powder coating them is going to the top of the list.

No sir, a few were available for other applications but not the 996. The Koni/Eibach setup is still on sale though.
