I have Continental Extremes 0n my Cab4< they stick like glue and are quiet. I've had the top down all winter, so I've been enjoying the mechanical sounds of my "Hot Rod VW'. That was a direct quote from a disgruntled Mustang driver after I sucked him up and spit him out in a very spirited stop light encounter. Consider the Contis you wont be sorry.

Only problem is the size. 295/30/18 is very limited in choices.

I think the overwhelming response for the sumis are working. Good reviews, price that you can't beat, and they're in stock. I guess I'm sold. Plus I keep forgetting that I have a wedding that I have to pay for haha. Thanks guys.

My understanding is that the PS2 N2 rear tires are no longer available, the N3 and N4 tires are available
I just mounted a set of Michelin PS2 295/30/18 N3s on my 2002 C4S
My local supplier was able to get them no problem

Ask your supplier to check for a different SKU/part number

It's pretty amazing how the number of options for the 295 width tire are significantly less than the 285.

I have been very happy with the Ventus V12 Evo2's I run on my 996. Will buy them again (rears are nearly down to the wear bars; fronts should last as long as another pair of rears).

Unexpected surprise: They are wearing much more evenly than the BFG GForce Sports...

Not a problem. I ended up calling tire rack and getting a set of ps2. My rep Ian was able to source them from Michelin, which is weird because when I called Michelin direct, they said they weren't in production and no place had them... Oh well.
