997 worth the extra cost compared to a 996?

My dad has a 2007 Targa 4S and while the interior is beautiful, I prefer driving my 996. It's more nimble, simpler (less gizmos), and just feels more raw. I would never buy a Porsche 911 as a "luxury car". I am more about the minimalistic approach and care more so about overall driving experience.

Just having some fun! Ultimately, I plan to add a 996tt to my stable. Prices are looking pretty good!

997.2 Carreras S will be my next car. Huge bump in horsepower from my 2003 and the interior is something I actually like staring at... For the next few years I'll just keep loving my 2003. It's a fun car to drive and I like looking at it
