Default Is this the "hollow" wheel?

These are the stock rims that came from my 2004 C4S. I'm just wondering if these are the "hollow", and therefore, lighter wheels. I noticed that the inside spokes are "hollow", so I would think these are the hollow ones.

Can anyone confirm? I'm just curious since I recall seeing pics of the supposed hollow rims but the backsides didn't look like this.

Thanks in advance.

Nope. That's the solid wheel. The solid wheel was standard on the C4S. The hollow wheel was standard on the 2002+ turbos, although it can be found on some 2001 cars.

The hollow spoke wheels are smooth on the back of the spokes.

hollow spoke wheels have smooth spokes on the backsides as well (that's how they are hollow...)

Thanks folks! Odd that these are the "solid wheels", yet they are visibly hollow. And the hollow wheels are visibly solid! Which way is up!

think of a hollow wheel spoke as a drinking straw... to be hollow inside its gotta be round outside...right?
