We've seen used IMSBs pop up before. I'd love to know if anyone ever actually buys them and if so what the hell they are doing with it?
If it is in such good condition that it can be reused, why didn't they just slap it back in and send the upgraded bearing back?

At $300 it damn well should come gold plated!
Now if it was a more realistic free for the cost of shipping, then I might pick it up so I can have a complete dual and single row set

Only got 46,000 miles on it, it's at least good for another 25-30 miles.

gnat: No I'm a risk taker and I think I still have an original hand grenade in my car. Wished it was me as it is funny. How much does it cost to gold plate an imsb?

In my case I had to pay their minimum run cost which was $325. A stupid waste of money, but it's hilarious to hear all the incorrect guesses I get.

It might be a little less than 25-30 miles since it's made in Poland. We all know the Polish IMS bearings are the ones that had the most problems. Jake can confirm this...
