Modified/race engines generally don't end up on the shelf but instead go right into a vehicle when the engine is complete.

While you might get lucky you could be waiting a long time.

So you might want to consider sourcing an engine from a Porsche salvage business and either using it as it is or having it modified to suit your needs/desires.

For Porsche salvage businesses check ads in Excellence or Panorama.

 

im fine with ANY good running 3.6l by now, low miles would be nice, it has been really really hard to locate one, im located in the caribbean, so i all can do is search over the internet and call around, but it has been very very difficult.

 

There is a long block on eBay for $10k. Looks like a total rebuild. Can't say if they would ship to you but he is in Port Lucie, FL.
