Default Auto Brokers

About 30 years ago I was put in touch with an auto broker in the NorCal Peninsula area area who did a great job for me. He was a one-man operation working out of his home with access to all of the major wholesale car auctions, and charged a very reasonable, fixed, flat-rate fee of only a couple hundred bucks (irrespective of the price/value of the car) to source the specific car your were seeking (in my case, a year-old VW Jetta for my wife).
Anyone have a lead on such a person either in the Bay Area or SoCal.

I got mine from a place that sells used imports, and usually higher end imports. I wouldn't think twice about going back to them, or even having them search me out a car and ship it here. Big benefit too is that they are a dealer which helped me get a loan. So I'd personally go and look at cars for sale around the area and talk to one of them, and since everything is online you can easily find reviews.
