Just wondering what are your 3 favorite shows -

Mine:

Ambulance
24 Hour Race
4 Runner

( I still laugh out load seeing the Ambulance show- even after watching it 5 or 6 times...)

 

I only have one, and that was the one where they took a trip looking for the best driving roads through Italy and the Alps in a 997.1 GT3RS (green), Lambo Gallardo Superleggera, and an Aston Martin race car basically that May drove. Oh and the one where Jeremy drove the Scuderia for the first time was pretty awesome too.

 

Edit: Saw shows and thought you meant car oriented shows! Episodes:

1. The Africa Special where they try to find the source of the Nile. Season 19, Ep 6-7.
2. Backroads Caravan Race. Season 20, episode 5 (laughed so hard at this episode).
3. Reliant Robin Rollover – Series 15, Episode 1. (They had their tech guys mess with the steering so they could drive around tipping over)

- Cannot forget about the P45. Season 19 Episode 1 or The World's Best Taxi. Season 20 Episode 2.

 

Naming my favorite Top Gear episode would be like trying to choose my favorite hummer of all time. They're all good.

However, the episode in which Clarkson manages to fix something and shouts "I mended it!" to the world was pretty funny.

 

1. Oliver!
2. Anything with Sabine.
3. Anything not in the last 3-5 seasons after it went to pot.

The show ran it's course long ago. It should stay dead.

 

The Vietnam by "motorbike" episode
the Stig as Baby Jesus Holy Lands episode
the Bolivian scary azz roads episode or the Argentinian fiasco-we-almost-died-at-the-hands-of-an-enraged-Clarkson-hating-mob episode

 

The one where Clarkson drives the Lancia Stratos and make the hilarious comment about the seatbelts

 

As a 996 c2 driver , I've got to say pendine sands
Hammond is pretty effusive about the 996 c2

 

Man, this is tough.

I really enjoyed the one where Hammond reviewed the Lexus LFA.

The Patagonia special is also very good, that Lotus was awesome, it had a 928 GT and the ending was great.

Season 18 they did the McLaren MP4 vs Aventador vs Noble M600 which was great

The Cayman vs Corvette one was great.

India special.

 

I like something about each episode, but one of my favorites is when May and Hammond try to launch the Reliant into orbit. The look on their faces when it all goes to sh*t is priceless.

 

The episode where they raced to the Mexican border to pick who had to go across and review the Mastretta...

I filled out the Mastretta contact form a few years back. Stunningly, I never heard anything.

Patagonia and Search for the Nile source were epic but multi part shows

 

- The reliant rocket, brings back memories of dear old Grandad driving us around Kent.
- 996 GT3 episode
