Default Taillights

Happy New Year - I was wondering if the taillights can have the lens removed by heating just like the headlights?? I have one with a cracked lens and one with cracked mounting tabs and want to make one good unit.

Thanks for the help

Why not just get one from a junkyard?

I dunno about changing the lens, but while in body shop to repair some garage damage(don't ask) they fixed my cracked mounting tabs by using some kind of epoxy resin/filler stuff. Good as new! P.s. I've heard cracks are created by over tightening or uneven mounting surface.

thanks - I may jut try and fix the mounting tabs, which seems easier than taking the lens off
