Default Rear Spoiler

Now that the side skirts are on and rennline semisolid motor mounts in hand I'm thinking about adding a rear spoiler. Thought this looked pretty cool on this 991. Anyone know of something similar for 996?

I've been searching for months and decided on this:

http://www.vertexauto.com/ShowItem/2...yurethane.aspx

Have to decide what to do with it... paint, wrap, plasticoat, leave it....

I like this one too. Found it on another site but could't find it right now, as it's apparently discontinued through vertex:

http://www.vertexauto.com/ShowItem/1...20Spoiler.aspx

No matter which one you like, pretty expensive for what amounts to a piece of plastic. LOL.

Guess it's the price of trying to look different.

Dinicod thanks for the share. The second one that was d/c sure looked pretty close to the one on the 991 pic. Agreed way over priced for a piece of plastic.

Nrauto.com sells the second one. But like I said it's expensive!!!

I got the other one "on sale" from vertex and saved some money on the shipping. Still expensive though.

This is more of a small wing than the one at Vertex but it's cheaper! lol

Also, make sure you're aware of the material your potential spoiler is made of before you buy it. Polyurethane is basically like a big piece of hardened rubber. You can paint it but it flexes a bit so it isn't the same as CF, ABS or FRP in terms of rigidity and, I believe, requires different paint...or so I've been told. Someone will correct me if I'm mistaken.

Good luck!
