I recently purchased a Sparco Ergo (large size) to put in my street/track 996. I like the idea of the removable halo wings. This morning I removed the driver's seat and tried putting in the Sparco. At first I tried the seat with side brackets and a Sparco base, and I mounted the seats on the brackets as low as possible. I could not get the seat positioned in the car this way. The top of the seat was hitting the headliner.

For the heck of it, I removed the side brackets and base and tried just putting the seat in the car with nothing attached. I still had a hard time getting the seat to fit, and it would be pressed against either the center tunnel, the door, and/or my DAS Sport roll bar.

I think I'll drop by a professional installer and see what they have to say. If anyone here has this seat in their car, please let me know how you did it.

Delete. I see your using a Sparco floor mount. My question was a floor mount or OEM sliders.
