Adios, Farewell and Auf Wiedersehen
Well folks, it's been a good run but I am sadly yet excitedly leaving the 996 world. I just purchased a Cayman S with every option I wanted. It took a long time to find but now she's mine.
I will be putting together an ad for my Guards Red 996 very soon. Not sure if I will just toss it in eBay to toss it quickly or not. If anyone is interested in a stellar performing DE/Street car, hit me up. Price will be very non threatening.
I will still pop over here for my daily forum awesomeness as nobody does it like you guys!

Nice car you've added to the stable. But, you ain't going anywhere.
If I was still looking for a turbo, I'd have dropped the search and just bought your car. If I had the $$, I'd buy your 996 in a heartbeat right now. But, if I did that, I'd need your wife's divorce defendin' services.
Your last 996 that you sold a couple of years ago, I thought was a great deal for the buyer. You've got a little bit of groovzilla in you in that sell low so you don't have to screw around with tirekickers as opposed to someone who is looking for top dollar. So, if anyone is keeping an eye out for a 996, watch for Gator's car because it probably won't be on the market long.

gnat, as much bitchin' as you did at me for selling without telling you, I fully expect you to send Gator a check right away. If not, I'm going to call bullsh!t and start referring to you as "Blswan".

We actually talked a few months ago when he made noises about selling. He was thinking of asking for what I think was/is a decent price, but it's outside of my "fvck it, why not?" budget.
If he is going to sell it considerably less than what it is worth I may indeed want to be a player
Would have to paint it though

I will definitely forgo a major profit over a quick and painless sale of Big Red. It's been a great car that I will miss dearly.
And no, I ain't going anywhere.

Just to stir the interest and get those $30k offers rolling in 😄
99 MK1 aero, guards red. Unique that instead of the standard bulbous side skirts, it has Tech Art skirts and front bumper.
Full leather interior with red deviated stitching and red seat belts. Porsche Techquipment roll bar installed, no longer available from Porsche. Alcantara steering wheel and shift gator. Otherwise standard interior, all factory. FVD deep dump kit and baffle. LN spin on oil filter adapter. The exhaust is from a 99 European only GT3. It sounds amazing! ROW M030 suspension installed by Brumos. Wheel spacers all around which brings them out even with fenders. Good stance, no rub.
Car has been dealer serviced at Brumos for many many years. I do my own oil changes and brakes though. Brand new AC compressor, lines and drier with a lifetime parts and labor guarantee from Brumos. Did that a few months ago. New left front wheel bearing. New pulleys and serpentine belt service just completed at Brumos. New factory spec motor mounts just installed.
Car has been involved in DE's most of its life. Previous owner is a good friend and DE instructor. It is great on track and street. Handles like a dream.
It won't win any concours but it looks good. It could use a front bumper respray from track sandblasting.
The leather headliner has two tears from the rollbar install but it doesn't bug me. I just haven't got around to replacing it.
Car runs strong with no leaks. Original dual row IMS. Car has 113,000. Porsche outdoor car cover fit for an aero included. It's fits snug as a bug.
