Default 0W40 Engine much quieter

Noticed after changing my oil yesterday (type and viscosity unknown) to Mobil 1 European car formula 0W40 my engine is 10x quieter than it ever was.

Also put in 6 new plugs and coils amazing how smoothly these run with a fresh tuneup!

Glad your car is running smooth Jamie, plus I am always ready for good oil thread.

That's normal. Even running 5w-50 oil in both of my car engines first thing I notice after a 5K mile oil change is how much quieter the engine is after the oil change.

Looking forward to changing the coils in both cars soon. I'm hoping to notice the engine responds in a positive way to new coils.
