rear wiper add on

the c4 i just bought doesn't have a rear wiper.

is it worth it if i'm in a snowy place?
how much do the parts cost?
is it a DIY?

I asked the dealer that question too. He said it would too cost prohibitive. Apparently it's very difficult to retrofit.
