Is this the right kit? Or did you only need the dye to do the repair?

I have the "low gloss" dye from Leather World and, to me, it looks way too flat when touching up a spot. The original leather has a slight sheen to it. Leather World explains that low gloss is typically how they come from the factory, but it isn't unusual for the leather to have a sheen years later due to the use of conditioning products over time. For my car (Savanna Beige), I don't feel low gloss was a good match and I will definitely order semi gloss next time for touch up. If you are redoing all of the leather, rather than touching up, then maybe low gloss is a good choice.

The low gloss/flat finish becomes burnished over time and gets a sheen of it's own. If you want to speed the process, I'm sure you could. I did my steering wheel shift boot/**** and e-brake handle as well as the seat,s and after a few months, they're just about a perfect match both color and finish wise. If you're worried about the "sheen" being right immediately, I suppose the medium gloss would get you there soon - I worried about it getting too shiny over time though...
