Default 3D printed cupholder

We have a 3D printer at work and I found a link to a cupholder mentioned in another thread. I used black and it turned out very close to the color of the console. The fit is pretty good, its not loose once it's in but it's very light. I've used it for awhile now and I just leave it in.

Very nice but doesn't it get in the way of your shifting and forearm with a drink in place?

No, I've had water bottles and coffee in there and don't recall it being in the way at all. I also jam my phone in there and lean it back to watch the screen for maps. That got in the way of shifting to 6th. It's offset to the right enough though. It sticks out onto the passenger side a bit.

It looks promising. I just commissioned one on 3DHubs.com. We'll see how it goes.

Very interesting. What is the cost approximately if you go through the hub?

Default Just sent my request

Very interesting. My local guy is within a couple of miles from the house. They download the file that I downloaded from the site and they will let me know if they can do it or not. Cost is about $60 bucks and I will have it tomorrow if this works out. I wonder if I can send them a file for a young blonde to order.

Wow $60. I don't think it's worth that much. It took around 8 hrs to print but it cost less than $3.00 of plastic.
