Default C4s And 17 Inch Wheels

Can 17s be used on a c4s and what size tires can be used? My main interest is for winter use.

Porsche recommends 18s. That doesn't mean 17s won't fit, but I'd worry about brake clearance.

Well, I have found a private party that I thnk I will buy from. But if not, I'm going for Wheel Enhancement. How many others are interested?

Path or Mark,
I'm in for a group buy, we talking 18" Dunlop Winter Sports M2s (tho i guess i'd need different rears than a C4S)? The M3s seem like a better tire tho, even if they are not Porsche recommended....
