Default Used Pcars from Miami - is rust or salt damage a problem?

As I search for a used Pcar, I've found that quite a few are available in the Miami area.

Do I need to be concerned about rust or other effects from the high humidity and salt water around Miami?

I'm looking at MY02 and 03 cars, so they've probably been exposed to that environment for as much as two years.

Thanks,

Longhorn: Unless the car has been parked outside close to the beach the entire time it shouldn't have a problem with the interior. The Porsche corrosion warranty is 10 years so you'd still be covered by that for many more years on a MY02 or 03 car.

Should not be a problem. I looked at a lot of P cars in Miami and none had rust.

Rust and/or salt damage not your biggest concern...reputation of the dealer is of more importance. Many, many dealers in the miami area with "high end" cars....less are of the "reputable" nature. Check the reputation of the dealer!!
