Default Need to borrow black 996 hood bra South Florida

All - I am wondering if anyone in the South Florida area has a used hood and bumper bra I could borrow or purchase this Monday. I looked on eBay, OEM sites and Craigslist and no one would be able to ship it to me in time. I am hopefully picking up my first 996 Monday and have a long drive home on the interstate. Would be willing to pay a rental fee and mail it back to you, or else I can purchase from you. Thank you!

This guy drove 1800 miles without one. You'll be fine. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...m-toronto.html

Heck, if you're that worried, go buy some Home Depot 3" painters tape, in either blue or green, you're choice! Might look terrible, but who cares? Peeps use it at the track, so why not?

I wouldn't worry Tony. Smooth sailing on highways this time of year. Just stay away from dump trucks and Semi's. You could also go this route if you are concerned. This is an idea I had..

Hi Tony - I saw your post in the other thread. I just made the ~3,400 mile trip from Seattle to Boston without anything on the hood or bumper and was fine. You obviously have to pay attention to your surroundings, stay far enough back from semis and other vehicles in construction zones, but I had no issues with chips on the ride home. When I did get back, I did a full detail (clay, Klasse, Pinnacle) to remove the road grime, etc.

Best of luck!

Here's one currently at $50 and 20-hours to go... have your own, yes it will fit, all 996 hoods are equal.

Good Luck,

Thanks. I messaged them yesterday and he said didn't think would fit. I'll go ahead and get it.
