Aux input CDR22 (Do these work ok?)
Has anyone tried the Becker / ebay AUX input cables shown below (EBAY).

I have ordered one so I don't have to keep putting CD's in the auto changer.
My plan is to install that in the Becker CDR22 and then connect my phone playing MP3's and the like.
Do they play OK.
Note: This is my first post and I have tried searching the site

Aux input CDR22 (Do these work ok?)
I installed the aux-in cable on my CDR-220 in place of the factory CD changer and it works quite well. No hiss, static or distortion playing music or Pandora on my iPhone. Inexpensive and relatively easy to DIY (sliding the head unit out is tricky as there is no wiggle room and it's stuck in there pretty good on my car). Go for it!

Have it on my CDR-220, works great. Cheap quality cable though, no isolation for interference. So my mobile interferes quite a lot with it, normally activate air plane mode when using it.

I tried the one for the iPhone with a lightning connector. It was a hot mess of loose wires, and caused a tremendous amount of noise - even after adding a ground loop isolator. Here is a thread with more info:

Fortunately, Beckersound was quick to refund upon return.

OK - Got the lead and tried it it works but when I power my Galaxy s5 from the 12v (car) power I get ground effect whine.
I have ordered a 3.5mm eliminator.
Oh yes and using one of these leads you need to enable the aux which is done by pressing the TP button and holding until you see becker then you scroll trough the options till you see AUX and switch it on.
I tried several ferrite cores on the power line which nearly eliminated the while but I will try the signal noise eliminator and test.

bluetooth adapter is the one I'm using. It looks like there are
available now.
I also installed a dual usb power supply to provide the Bluetooth adapter with power and to give me a usb charger for my phone. If I find the link I'll post it - it was harder to find than I expected.
