I wanted to reduce front end lift at 100+mph on the track. I found Joe Toth composites mentioned on the HPDE forum here at Rennlist. I ordered his one piece splitter. It was around $200. And very easy to install. I just used the same technique for the GT3 splitter that is on renntech.
I don't have pics right now. Upload them later. But you can find him and pics on Facebook.
I haven't track tested it yet. At worst at least it looks nice.
Nice track item. I don't see this surviving for too long on the streets with lowered suspension. If you don't have lowered suspension then that's why you're getting lift at 100+mph.

Suspension is lowered to GT3 height. Lift is slight. Streets in suburbs of Dallas area are pretty smooth. We'll see how it holds up.
I like it. Looks more aggressive than my GT3 Cup splitter. Not sure I like how it attaches to the front clip. Would be a lot cleaner if it bolted on from the bottom vs the front.

You might be looking at the two piece splitter. Base bolts to underside of bumper. Actual splitter uses dzus fasteners to the base. It's real low and mainly for track use. Two piece allows for loading and easy replacement.
A few 996 racers I know use the one piece splitter. It is a bit more aggressive than the stock GT3 splitter. It attaches to the underside of a gt3 or aerokit bumper. Holes are already drilled.
I need to clarify. I have the one piece which has no vertical piece (i.e. air dam). Just a small horizontal lip that sticks out about 2-3 inches and attaches to the undertray/bumper. The ones you see on his site are the two piece full "race looking" version.

David what are they made of? Fiberglass or something a bit more flexible? Is your car lowered? Do you be any issues bottoming it out on the street? Love to see a pic.

I have only drove the car once since install. It is 100deg here in Dallas and I don't like driving the car in the heat.
The lip is fiberglass. It is somewhat flexible, but probably would crack if I hit something hard. My car is lowered to GT3 height. So low but not slammed.
I can take some pics when I get home. Didn't have time yesterday to take pics.
