Are the heated ones interchangeable...meaning they will bolt right in to either car and will the memory seat/mirror system hook right up?

I think you will need to deal with the airbag issue somehow. The 997 seats house the side airbags, while they are in the doors in the 996.

It's been done. But it's not a direct swap. Need to redo the harness

So John, you don't like the 997 seats? Which seat is in your 997? Maybe you should look for some 997 adaptive sport seats and swap to those. I have them and they are fantastic. I like them much better than the "comfort seat" option that I had in my 996 C4S.

Just plain old leather seats...but the headrest must have been built for a basketball player...it was easy to look over my shoulder and see out the window in my 996...this is not the case in my 997.

Not sure what adaptive sorts seat are...I'm ot looking for some fancy mod, just a simple better seat. But thanks for the tip, I'll check them out.
