Default AC Relay issue ????

Does anyone know on the ac relay which terminal is positive and which is
neg.? Pins number 85 and 86 according to the print I have show they are
the relay coil wires and I am not sure which one is supposed to be positive
got some weird issues.

'usually' its like this, genetically, all depends upon what they want the relay to do:

30 = power into relay
85 = ground for relay
86 = the trigger, power to here makes or breaks contacts
87 = normally open contact, power out
87a = normally closed contact, power out

Pin 86 is +12v supplied by fuse C1 and 85 is grounded by the DME to turn ON the compressor.

Thanks guys, that is exactly what I needed to know. Had a really hard time trying to figure out the 31 pin which has what appears to be a diode between it and pin 87 and the wire that goes to the
31 pin is goes to the injectors wow not sure still what thats about. But I have figured out that I have lost my grnd that goes to pin 85 so trying to chase down why now. Trying now to research
what the permissives are thru the DME in order to send the grnd to the pin.
