Default I knocked the deck lid switch into the sill.

While changing out the driver's seat, I managed to knock the deck lid switch into the sill.

Trying to fish it back up isn't working.

The plate it fits into appears to be attached by two hex head screws deep under plastic plugs, that are not easy to get to.

Anyone else has this happen, and any good tips to fix?

like you stated, use a long hex...3-4 inches long...i believe size is a 4mm or a 5mm. loosen just a little, does not need to be removed and the sill lifts up.

Thanks!

If the screws don't need to be removed, that will make it MUCH easier.
