Default Weekend gremlins!

It's just been one of those weekends!

- air bag light is on.

- Wind deflector doesn't go down all the way which causes the sunroof not to close.

- The back portion of my drivers seat (the pad) broke 2 clips and now doesn't stay locked in to the seat.

- Coolant leak from either the cap or a cracked reservoir.

So now that I have these issues I might as well complain about my fuel gauge not being accurate!

Nick,

The air bag light is a common problem and is usually caused by the seat belt wiring. There are several TSBs out on this for the 99 models. You should have your dealer check to see if the TSB has been performed on your car. You should argue to have this done as a warranty item because it is a known problem.

Can't help you with the other two issues.

Well, my car is certified so it should be covered. I HOPE! I don't know what the certification covers and what it doesn't. I haven't gotten any sort of warranty paperwork/card from Porsche yet. Not even sure if I will?

If it's a CPO car, I'd think they would correct all 3 problems at no cost to you. The only things that should be excluded are consumables and cosmetics. These are all operating faults with the car from the sounds of it. Take it back to the dealer and raise Hades if they don't repair without charge.
