While changing spark plugs today, I noticed two of the rubber "boots" of the 6 plug coils had a 2 inch split down the side exposing part of the spring that seats to the top of the spark plug, What kind of problems will this cause.

 

I guess you could get a short. The rubber tube/extension from the coil to the plug is a separate part if you want to replace them. They just pull off the coil. Jeff
