What was your first car?

My first car was a '65 Corvair Corsa, 4 speed, British Racing Green that I converted to a Fitch Sprint w/black top. I raced a few hillclimbs and loved that car. Too bad Ralph Nader destroyed any value that car had!

My first car? Question, is owning a car for a week or two considering "owning", like flipping a car?
I purchased my first car around 31 years or so ago, was a white 1967 Datsun 2000 (Fairlady) with body damaged and needs tune-up for $600 with clean title, and got it sort out in a week, painted yellow and sold it for $2500 in less than two weeks. Made around $1600. Then bought a white 1985 Toyota Celica GTS six month later for $500 with bad engine and minor body damaged, but clean title also, swap out with a salvage yard engine ($800) and fixed the body and sold it $6000 in less than a week, made around $4500, all in my mom's backyard.
Use the $6000 to purchase my Euro Spec 1980 BMW 635CSI with dogleg 5 speed and kept it for around 6 years until I met my girlfriend (now wife) and sold it to start our family. Hello Honda Accord and Honda Odyssey.
Photos below are not my cars, borrowed from the web. They are very close looking to my cars, especially the BMW, looks almost the same even with the same Alpina wheels, but my do not have pinstripe.

My first car was in 1987 and was a 1970 Ford Maverick with the 5.0 V8. Had vacuum leaks, no brakes and was gold with white vinyl top. I called him "Gold Finger". the ladies liked it.

My 1st car was a 77 Camaro Type LT, bought in my senior HS year in 1979. I thought it had a 350 V8, but it felt a little sluggish. Nope - 305 V8 with a whopping 145 HP. It was black with a tan tonneau roof, black interior. I was talked into putting a T-roof on it. That roof used to leak like a sieve in a hard rain! Marriage and child came along rather quickly, so out went the Camaro and in went my wife's 1980 Corolla. Now that car was slow!

1984 VW Rabbit GTI. Silver with blue corduroy interior. Loved that car! 90HP but felt very quick back in the day when a sub 10 second 0-60 time was considered respectable.

In the mid '80s, my first car was a '69 Mustang 302 2 barrel w drum brakes. It was an old car then but could beat the late 70s Camaros and TAs my friends had.

Hah, late 70's Datsun B210 P.O.S. that wouldn't die. I was into crotch rockets so I just wanted something to drive when it was raining. I beat on it, drove it into ditches and dragged it out, never changed the oil, did my own clutch replacement and it never worked quite right and it still wouldn't die so I sold it to my brother 3 years later. Picture is similar

Wow, you all had nice or interesting cars.
First I shared was an 9 year old manual 1987 Ford Escort, that I shared with my brother. Downhill with a tailwind I might have had it up to 90 once, speedo only went to 85 though.
1st car that was mine a 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 2.8L V6, auto , I liked that one.
Not mine, but the same:

‘65 Mustang Fastback. Began life as a 289 2bbl, with a C4 auto. I stuffed in a 351C with the big port (4bbl) heads (sourced from a Pantera) and backed by a top-loader 4spd. It was a total POS, but it was a fast POS.
