Finally modded the car. BMW was at the shop and they gave me a loaner - brand new 535i with all the electronic gizmos. Loved being able to sync the phone and bluetooth stream books and music. So went on the hunt for upgrade to add in my phone. Looked at the appradio, the 8100NEX(pioneer), the yatour option, and the becker cable. Then I saw this.
I don't have the CD changer so was a no brainer. Plays music through the aux port and charges the phone. Still can use the single CD player, too.
Total install time - 10 minutes. Trying to figure out how to get the keys out of the radio was 1/2 that time.
