Just personal taste. I changed them on my Forest Green Metallic but I actually like them on white or silver cars. And don't believe it about the 25 additional horses that the clear ones claim. Probably more like 20.

You're just upset because there is no need for WD-40 in the swap procedure

Hurdi, I think end quote THEN colon is what you meant to say. The "preview post" button is your friend.

gnat - Nice use of the WD-40 reference - I see what you did there.

How's your low-temp thermostat treating you, Shaun?

996_North: Thanks for the advice. I must admit the question I asked was not so innocent! I figured it would bring out many humorous responses! Sorry!

I will stay with the pumpkins. I place value in original equipment on my cars, especially something like these cars. BTW I'm too old to be cool anymore and being a nerd is fine with me, as well!

I've had clear markers and clear bulbs for years with no police problems. I wouldn't worry about orange bulbs. Change them all to clear, no one would ever notice.

Nice. But, your center caps are not pointing to the valve stems.

Hey wildbilly - You got something hanging out of your nose.

KC-944 Turbo - Et tu Brute? ( Sorry, I realize I am one day late to use that quote)

I would think that a white light shining from the side marker of your car would look kind of odd at night. I can see why it would be illegal.

If you don't like the look of the amber bulb through the clear lens, you can always buy the chrome lamps that look like chrome unlit and shine amber when illuminated.

Guys, I'm gonna tell you a secret. Some peeps on the other side of the world actually WANT pumpkins. They look to replace their clears with ambers.

Case in point, Japan has quite an assortment of AFTERMARKET amber lenses enthusiasts can buy to modify their cars with.

So anyone wanting to get rid of their pumpkins may fair better putting it on Japanese ebay and you may actually get something for them.
