Rollover
#46
Just a quick note to share two pieces of good news.
1. I am now the happy owner of a 2002 Carrera - financed from the remains of my rolled '99 - talk about Phoenix mode!
2. I found it on the for sale forum here at Rennlist

First ride observations
Happy, Happy, Happy!
Noticeably throaty growl - did not turn the radio on for first 2 hours of driving it home, just listening to it.
Awesome acceleration - can you feel 24 more hp in going from 3.4 to 3.6L? Yes, I think you can!
Like the steering wheel more than on '99.
Seems to ride more comfortably.
I don't know if this is true, but seems the fenders stick up more, like 964 style (vs. my '99). Maybe I'm just noticing more after driving a friend's '89. But it's a more fun cockpit view.
I drove straight to my mechanic and am getting IMS/RMS work. Can't wait to get it back.

Saw this car listed in the classifieds! Reminded me of mine, just higher miles and a little older, but in truly awesome condition! Congrats, for me the difference between the 3.4 and 3.6 is night and day. I drove both on multiple occasions before pulling the trigger.
