I don't know about these guys but my car is worth about $17,000 and the paint was hopeless plus little dings and decent scratches here and there. I got a $2500 paint job here in Dallas. I have an imperfection here and there so "get what you pay for" in my case is a car that looks ten times better than before. It would take an enthusiast to tell the difference and I don't know any of those beyond this forum.
Sure, maybe it won't last as long, maybe it will. If the next owner (if I ever let it go) wants to put a $10k paint job on then I welcome them to do so. I'll end this post like every "you get what you pay for" post.
