I can recommend a few places in the area:
- Speedsport Tuning (as mentioned above)
- Dan Jacobs (Hairy Dog Grrrage), a bit farther north in CT
- Formula Motorsports in Queens

I've worked with all of these and have had great experiences.

MTech in New Rochelle

There are plenty of options. Sign up to become a PCA member and there is always a list of shops who perform Tech inspections for DE. You can always use that list as a source.

Cheech dented my front left fender when I took my turbo in for a door latch weld/repair. Not sure if the body shop or his shop that did it but I am not going back.

He gets a volume of cars going through there for sure so maybe I am just one of the few unhappy customers. However, if a shop does not treat a customer's car as if it is their own...

I am happy to help with any service. We are an hour and a quarter from midtown. I offer a ride to the brewster train back to NYC if needed. Let me know if Speedsport can help. 203 730 0311

I'm local to New Rochelle. I've heard excellent things about Mike at MTech in New Rochelle. Haven't needed his services as of yet but he will be my 1st choice when the time comes.

Nyol and Junior at Speedwerks NY
Located in Nack NY. Open Saturdays as well.
Ive been with them for over 10 years. The brothers are honest to a fault
And Ive never EVER felt any buyers remorse when I get the bill. I see the same customer base year after year, and always hear good things from the new ones.
845-512-8770
They are both very informed on all models and Junior is a well know engine builder.

Sorry to hear that, obviously I had a very different experience there. I agree it's really important to find a shop that cares about taking care of customer cars.

+1 on Rennwerke. I've had a lot of work done there over the years and always had a great experience. I think they even service a few of Jerry Seinfeld's cars.
