Default Lost wheel key problem solved

Unfortunately I lost my wheel key when I needed it most! Anyways upon calling the dealer they needed the lug to compare and new one was around 80...my problem was flat tire and lug still on...

Fix was an email pic of my lug on the wheel and that's all!!!
Mcgard wheel locks contacted me....and week later I have new key 25 shipped!!

I had the same problem. I went to the dealer and asked them to remove all the locks and replaced with standard ones. Really, when was the last time someone tried stealing a porsche rim? Even the porsche service manager recommended to remove the locks completely.

They also make a 'reverse thread" socket for just such emergencies. I see 'em at most auto parts houses. It's threaded inside the socket and will pull wheel locks or stripped bolts off quickly.

Better yet, sell them to new Porsche owners. Tell them they need it for backups. LOL
