I don't see how this is a fuse. The fuse should be inline with the motors not the switch. If the motors work with the key the fuse should be fine.

Happy to be wrong but that doesn't make sense to me.

Regretfully my indie guy couldn't understand it either. It is happening at the same time that my key fob is not working the locks like it did before and it wont unlock the locks at all by pushing the button. Alsothe power lock switch on the dash does not work now and the interior lights don't come on when I open the doors. Its a mystery to me. The paint shop had the door handle off but I don't see how that could do anything. The drivers seat had been adjusted back further than it was when I left it but I don't know what that could have to do with anything either. Hopefully the mystery will be solved tomorrow. Also when I push the button on the key fob ithe car makes 2 clicks instead of 1 like it used to and the horn beeps twice. It seems to me the horn only used to beep once.

The owners manual says if the horn beeps twice when you try to alarm it there is something wrong with the central alarm system and to return to the PORSCHE dealer and have them fix it. My horn beeps twice and the alarm system isn't working, Hopefully the windows are tied into that.

So did you try what Macster suggested in the beginning or is that not applicable in your case?

Rubik, I did not try what Macster said as my car is a coupe and it wasn't washed and it was dry on the inside. I did not want to disconnect the battery as that might get me into some other problems. I want the indie to diagnose the problems without me possibly adding to them. This has drove me crazy all weekend and I'll be at his shop as soon as it opens in the morning to see what he says. Maybe with a little luck it will get fixed and I'll learn something. The paint shop removed the door handle. Do they have to take the inside door panel off to do that?

JD:
Fuse C3 (15A) is for:
CU CLS ALARM;
Power Window;
Sun Roof
Inside light.
That might be your culprit. Good luck!

JM, you nailed it. That was the culprit, all is fine now, everything works. Where did you get that info? Thanks again

Ah! Bravo, mon ami!
Glad you found the opened fuse.
I will try to find the fuses listing for you.
Can't remember where I found mine last year.
Nice picture by the way. Looking good!

JM, if you find it let me know and thanks again. The picture was taken on a windy little road called SOLEDAD CANYON on my way back to Las Vegas from Los Angeles last week, it was my first trip in the car since I got it back from Jakes shop. I'm impressed with everything about the car. I think they look great including the headlights. They're also quick, smooth, stop great, economical, sound good, handle great, and don't cost much initially. Someone said they're like a Gillette razor, they don't cost much at first but the blades are expensive. Maybe so but I still like my Gillette.

Alpine: Isn't that Richard Hammond rather that Hamilton, the little guy at Top Gear?

JD: I have got the exact same Gillette (2000, AS) but with the following differences:
- GT3 SportDesign wheels, and
- Clear rather than pumpkin colored sidemarkers.

I like your Turbo twist (?) wheels. They give the car a subtle classic look, the way these C2s were meant to look, in my opinion.
Good luck with it!

Forgot, JD!
In case you want to cover these 2 black holes where the front plate is usually mounted, check this site: http://www.bumperplugs.com/index.php...gory&path=1_11
No affiliation and you are lucky your state does not care for front plates. I wish our BC province were as progressive as your state.

Thanks again JM. I just ordered the bumper plugs already painted. I didn't like the holes and I wasn't gonna run a front plate. They want you to run a front plate but they never stop you for it. They'll usually add it as another violation if they stop you for something more serious.
