Clutch Upgrade Question
As I've alluded to in responses to other posts, I'm prepping for a major yard period (for all you boat guys) for the car this Christmas - all basics/preventative stuff - clutch/IMS/RMS/AOS/engine mounts.
I'm torn with which direction to go for the clutch. I have no problems persay with the stock clutch, but the Spec Stage 1 is pretty much the same price wise as the replacement stock kits. Additionally, I've found a great deal on a Clutch Master's clutch that looks great, albeit about double the price of the stock kit. I've done upgraded clutches before, but always with other mods - on my 951, with a ton of HP mods, with my 968, a lightened flywheel, etc.
What benefits, if any, am I going to see with upgrading the clutch on an otherwise stock 3.6L, from those of you with experience?
