I bought this car to use it. If the engine lets go at the track, at least it will have died doing something worthy. I was prepared to replace the engine when i bought the car, the question is just when. And yes it does mater where it came from. I i can replace the 4-5 chains and slider and keep it from scattering it is well worth the effort. A little diagnostics go a long way in preventative maintenance.

At least it's refreshing when people understand what 'preventive maintenance' means vs. "don't fix something that aint broken"

The maintenance is worth it, if at all possible you want to have a good core for the rebuild. Don't ask me how I know!
