Bike Racks for RTS
Couldn't find the old thread, so I figured I'd ask again...
I remember someone saying that either Thule or Yakima racks will fit the Porsche RTS. Just got an RTS from someone, came with ski racks, but I also want bike racks (mtn bikes) and don't want to pay porsche prices
TIA

Not sure if this is OEM or not...
I actually got this pic from a mtb forum. This unfortunately, is not my car so I apologize for posting w/o permission but I simply love the pic which is actually my current wallpaper. Especially since it fulfills my hobby dreams at the same time. Mtbing and P-cars.
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but since you mentioned mtbing on a P-car forum...it seemed somewhat appropriate. Not sure if he posts on this board, but he posts on Funcarsonline as "Pete".
Sweet ride.....both of them.

yes, thule or yakima will work, in fact much better the the porsche bike tray.
you need to drill the tray bottom of either yakima or thule and then bolt it to the RTS. goto a thule/yak dealer, borrow a tray, put it on top of the RTS and you will see what i mean.

mooty,
It seems like I'd need to drill the tray AND the cross bar, no?
