Getting manufacture date from VIN?
Is it possible to pull the date of manufacture from a car's VIN? It's for a '99 with a VIN: WP0AA2995XS625300

Look on your drivers side door jamb sticker. It will show month and year of manufacture.

Yup, I know that. The car in question is not with my brother at the moment BUT just checked Carfax and first registered Oct. 1999 so the manufacture date has to be before. So it is 15 years old....no federalization required to bring it into Canada.
