Upgraded the audio in my C4S about a month ago and I couldn't be happier. Everything was very plug and play. Replaced the stock stereo with the Pioneer DEH 80-PRS with the metra PN 70-1787 harness. Called Crutchfield to order and because they don't have the '01 911 on file if you ask they will throw in the adapter for free. Sounds great with Auto EQ and direct iPod connectivity.

Also upgraded the speakers to Focal's that was a much bigger PIA and inline Alpine Amp that fits behind the dash. Both installs were ugly but all closed up can't tell and sounds really good - excellent front sound stage. Really just need a powered sub for some low end now
