Default I fixed my heated seat

Thanks to the people on this forum that tackled this job before I had the confidence to give it a shot.

It took me about 5 hours but I bet I could do another in half that time now.

Wow, thats serious work. Did you replace the entire element or single wire/connection ?

I replaced the entire element, the top pic shows the new element pad and new seat foam.

Is that bottom pic where the wire got fried, the cause of the problem?
Looks like no way to fix without pulling the seat covers off. Ugh.
