Smile 996 Lug Nuts

Anyone know where I can get black lug nuts for my car? I bought a set of 18" Sports Classis Wheels that are black and the silver lug nuts look silly...

Thanks!

The dealer, Tire Rack, Discount Tire or any wheel shop. Just not sure you can get black BUT you could either paint them or have them coated. Just mask off the threads prior to coating.

Dealer and tire rack had none for the car. Boothedesign.com has them. I will go to the local wheel shop tomorrow...

Who coats lug nuts and wheels? I'm in NH.

Thanks

Look up coaters in your local yellow pages. If you can't find one, call a performance shop and ask them if they know of someone who does powder coating or anodizing.

Just to let you know...Anodizing looks nice but will wear off if you take the lugs on and off.

Powder coating will do the same but is more durable and easier to repair.

I would suggest letting them know what you want done and ask what they would use to get the desired results you're looking for.

Good luck!

Don't know if this applies but on my VW, it came with black plastic caps that cover the lug nuts. Maybe this will work? Might want to drop by the local VW dealer and see if they'll give you some.

Good thinking! My Audi had them too. If the Porsche is a 17mm hex, they'll fit.

Hey SPT! I'll trade you for them!

My 99 has black lug nuts {from the factory I beleive} and I'd like the silver ones. Want to trade?? This of course includes the 4 lock nuts with key.

Are they painted or powder coated?

Thanks,
