Default Replace power steering pump

So today for the first time I noticed a pretty bad squeal from the engine compartment every time I turn the wheel. I'm assuming the power steering pump is failing (fluid was full)

Is this a pretty easy DIY replacement? How much time should it take? Anyone have a link that shows a good walk through of the project?

Are the drive belt and belt tensioner in good condition? Power steering pump failure for our cars is not common at all.

I replaced the belt last winter (3,000 miles ago) and it looks good still. How do I test the belt tensioner? Feels like there is good tension on the belt.

One new piece of information.... I just remembered that over the last month ago I would hear a whine at full turn of the wheel (going into parking spaces for example).

Am I wrong or most likely steering pump? Again... any info on a DIY would be great!

On my race car I replace my PS pump with the new Cup electric PS pump. Probably over-kill for your situation. However, I do have my original PS pump with less than 5K miles i could sell you.

Thanks guys.... looks pretty complex considering my current level of expertise. has anyone on this board done this before? how much time does it take and how is the access to everything? Based on the directions, it seems like everything is right in front of you, probably don't even need to get the car up on jacks?
