Default New Shifter

I just installed this tonight. It took about 2 days to come in the mail and about 30 seconds to install. The original gearshift was really scratched and turned me off to the car long before I drove it and fell in love. What a difference this makes - feels nice too!

Can you post a simple step by step on how to switch it out. I have read on this blog and others about having to forcefully remove the sifter from the post. Was this y

Looks good! Mine's coming in tomorrow. Can't wait! Is it black or more grey? The pics from the dealer look pretty grey and I don't want it to wash out the interior. Thanks!

Thanks! I was expecting a huge battle to pull it off (happened in my vw) and it barely took any effort at all - I'm sure experience will vary but took 2 seconds. Step by step pulled up boot 4 tension tabs 2 to each side. Slid backwards pulled up. Reverse to install

Mears I was worried about the same thing - it really is pretty darn black the camera really picks up something on the alcantara to make it look lighter. I'm really thrilled.

Sounds great, I assume you purchased through Suncoast, if not can you divulge the supplier?

Does anybody make an Alcantara boot for a Carbon Fiber ****? I've got the ****, but would love to have an Alcantara boot with a different color stitching.
