Hi all,
i have a 1998 996 cabriolet. when the kids in the back put down the rear electric windows all is fine.
when drivers side goes up all is fine, but when passenger side goes up it automatically goes back down by aprox 2 " and stops. if you press the up button again it stays up as it should.
this is happening every time window is operated.

Any ideas please.

Was the window regulator recently replaced? If so try pressing the up button for 2 seconds after the window reaches the top. This should reprogram the window stop point. Good luck.
