Default Low Beams Dim

Hi,

99 996 C4 here...

My drivers side low beam went out, passenger side still functioned at normal brightness. I got a new low beam replacement light from a local Porsche dealer and replaced.

Now both low beams are really, really dim! High Beams and Fog Lights still function at normal brightness.

How did I screw this up Any ideas.

Thanks in advance.

Are they dim, or actually not working at all?
The reason that I ask is because a lot of times when people say that their low beam is dim, it's because the low beam is actually out and what they are seeing is the 3rd small parking light bulb. Try removing the parking light bulb from each headlight and see if the low beam lights up at all.
