Have spent hours looking for a definitive answer, but answers vary based on suspension heights, offsets and many opinions. I purchased a set of GT3 wheels where the rear wheel size is 18x10 with a 54mm offset. OEM offset for my car I've read is between 63-65mm and others have had success using 295 width tires. I have a 1999 MKI NB 996 with OEM suspension and am looking for the right size tire for the 54mm offset. Hoping for a 295 width tire will fit and clear but with the additional outward offset dimension am not sure if the 295 tire will clear the unrolled fender.
