Turn the key and the color becomes rather irrelevant. Find a car that otherwise is in great shape, consider adding a bit of growl to the exhaust, and the rest will take care of itself.

Palladio Metallic with Boxster Red full leather interior here.

Some people comment on the interior color, but I like it....

I have a Flamenco Red (with black partial dash, steering wheel, carpet mats) interior in my Grandprix White 993. I love it because it doesn't scream too loudly. I have seen some other reds which are a bit brighter for my taste.

PS - $19k sounds low - keep some $ for IMS/Main Seal retrofit

I've got an arctic/black coupe and just replaced the black seatbelts with red ones...looks nice...not overdone...installing an alcantera shiftknob with red stitching next week...

just like steve g said...keep some cash for the IMS
