I understand what the original poster is saying and agree as I was around and remember the horror stories that warned to stay away from the 911s that are now the air cooled darlings. At some point someone will just ask has the ims upgrade been done and with a yes will forget about it. The 996 prices will never be in proportion to the 993/964 etc but will go up as the air cooled cars get spoken for and priced out of most peoples used car budget.
