By "we," I primarily mean "my wife" - and I'm pretty sure she's not a hardcore voyeur. That "959" is probably the dirtiest thing those binoculars have ever been focused on...

Frankenporsche or not, it's a weird thing to see way off in the distance when you're standing in your own back yard...*squint* WTF? *squint* looks like a 959, but it's...*squint*

I think I need to find that house and learn the story of the kit car on the flatbed.

....Yeah, is there any way you can get that iPhone and binoculars on a women's sorority house so I can stop paying 29.95 a month? Kidding of course.....

It's called a "359 Speedster". It's a kit that's typically built on a Beetle chassis, and is supposed to contain styling cues of both the 356 Speedster and the 959.

This isn't the first time the iPhone/binocular combo was used to take a picture. You've done this before.

Ok that is like me trying to record a song on fm radio by putting up a microphone to the radio speakers from my cassette recorder. I know some of you use to do that too.

Nope, it was the first time. Won't be the last, though. Heh.

Good God, a bug-powered 959? The Fiero-based Ferraris are monsters by comparison.

Here's a YT vid of one of these...things. I haven't NOT wanted something this bad since I learned about trannies in middle school.

Just hideous. Is it still there? Maybe there's still time to kill it before it reproduces.

Similar 'Moreau' car has been for sale locally for a while. Built on a '91 Targa platform. I don't think he's going to get the $33K he's asking for it...

I'd rather have a 550 or a 904 kit car over the 356 personally.

I think that's a Family Truckster, the Sport model. "You think you hate it now, wait til you drive it."

Hey Schnelly, I believe your mystery machine is currently listed for sale on eBay - seller lists location as La Mesa.
